Broodingly atmospheric with a sweeping sound and majestic melodies, Another Sky are a force of nature. Catrin Vincent’s voice is echoing, androgynous and evocative, bringing to mind Tracy Chapman or Anohni (the force behind Anthony and the Johnsons), and sets the richly textured, cinematic tone. There’s something haunting about their melodies, with sparse instrumentation and lush layers of sound and we think this is going to be one of the sets of the weekend.
