It’s Earth Day!

We know you like to party. We also know that plenty of you like to look after our beautiful planet while you're doing it.

Consider this your official thank you for helping us help our little corner of the world.

We've been taking good care of things here since we started. And last year, we're proud to share that Lepallooza was awarded official accreditation by A Greener Festival, the industry people who recognise eco-excellence in events, which was pretty nice, we'll be honest.

Here are some of the things we've done over the years to help us tread more lightly on our planet, while keeping the dancing heavy:

🌱 We were the first festival to ban single use plastic behind their bars and introduce our *iconic* stack cups

🌱 90% of our power is renewable power from our amazing friends at Ecotricity. Only our two main stages use generators - we're working on that.

🌱 50% of our site floodlights are solar powered LEDs, it's the same in all our campsites

🌱 We build to last! There's no site build and take down here. We build from recycled, repurposed and locally sourced materials (like the motorway hoardings on our main stage), and what goes up, stays up (mostly...)

🌱 We source our merch from suppliers who work hard to pick the most sustainable materials, and we print it all locally

🌱 We have a zero landfill policy! All our recycling is...recycled. And everything else is turned into fuel pellets. Nothing goes to landfill.

🌱 We have plenty of taps around the site to keep you hydrated! Fill up your reusable water bottles as freely as you like(we sell some nice ones in our shop )

🌱 In 2021 we began our mission to make our toilets and showers permanent, with the fancy facilities over in Wylde Valley. Watch this space for more of this...

So get the eco glitter ready party peeps, grab your stack cups, fill your water bottles, and oh yeah, take your tent home, eh? We really like it when you do.
