Grungy shoegaze, cranked up guitars and some downright irresistible riffs, we love the sweet sounds of Chappaqua Wrestling, and we’re pretty sure they’re about to be your new favourite guitar band too.
Led by best buddies Charlie Woods and Jake Mac, they’ve been championed by BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 DJs including Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Steve Lamacq, and Radcliffe & Maconie. Support from BBC’s Huw Stephens and Jack Saunders saw the band invited to play sessions at Abbey Road and Maida Vale Studios. Yeah, they’re a bit good.
