“A beautiful experience

Chilli Jesson

You might know Chilli Jesson from indie darlings Palma Violets, but he’s back with his own fresh, distinctive sound, which he’s dubbing born-again pop. When Palma Violets split, with Chilli just 21, he went from the giddy heights of success to working in a pub and living with his mum. But from that period of fearfulness and depression, he created something beautiful, turning to pop inspiration to give his new sound a lush sonic overload, and layered up presence. Emotions are welcome here.
