Lauded as “a stand out stand up” by Taking the Mic, Christian is an award winning performer who has been entertaining audiences across the country since his debut in 2016. Since then, his friendly, affable nature combined with his carefully crafted brand of incisive jokes and witty stories has seen him become a firm crowd favourite. Dave Thompson has performed his stand-up comedy act in over thirty-five countries. Known for his zany style, he's written material for many famous names including Harry Hill, Omid Djalili, Ronnie Corbett, Bruce Forsyth, Stewart Lee, Jim Tavaré, and Phil Nichol. Dave appeared in four feature films and numerous TV shows including ‘Harry Hill’s TV Burp’. He’s best known as the actor inside the Tinky Winky costume in the world-famous TV show 'Teletubbies'. If you think that show was weird, wait until you see Dave live on stage!
David has been performing on the 'alternative' circuit for over 6 years and has performed all over the UK for some of the countries biggest promoters. He has supported many of today's crop of TV talent (Mark Watson, Hal Cruttenden, Nathan Caton). He has also performed at some major festivals including Download, Boardmasters and Lakefest and has won critical acclaim in competitions such as So You Think You're Funny and The South Coast Comedian of the Year. He has also tried his hand at ventriloquism (literally) as well as roller derby commentating, bingo calling and he's been a match day host at Torquay United.
In 2018 David made a breakthrough onto the mainstream arena and as well as performing with the likes of Bobby Davro and Jimmy Cricket also landed a lead role in a variety show at the Babbacombe Theatre in Devon. The summer season of 75 shows has given him a springboard into a new world of comedy and he will shortly be seen performing at holiday parks and even pantomime.
George Rigden is one of the most exciting emerging comics on the UK circuit. His unique, occasionally interactive & sardonic brand of comedy has been met with acclaim & several award nominations.

Hal Cruttenden is one of the top stand up comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor. He has made several appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’ (BBC1 and 2), ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC1) and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ (ITV) as well as his regular appearances on shows such as ‘Mock the Week’ (BBC2), ‘The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice’ (BBC2 and Channel 4) and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’ (BBC2). On the radio, the second series of his sitcom ‘Hal’ (co-written with Dominic Holland) was recently broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and he has released two comedy DVDs, ‘Tough Luvvie’ (Universal) and ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’(Amazon Prime and NextUpComedy.com). He has toured the country extensively and, in the last two years, has also taken shows to the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the New Zealand Comedy Festival.
Hal has completed four nationwide tours in the last few years: ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’(2015/16) ’Tough Luvvie’ (2013/14), ‘The Tiny Rage Tour’(2011) and ‘Lively' (2010). He is also a three time Chortle Award nominee and was nominated for the Perrier Newcomer Award back in 2002. He plans to tour again from the Autumn of 2018.
INTERNATIONAL JOKE OFF
After selling out throughout the UK and in Australia, International Joke Off is now coming to Leopallooza! In one corner, we have Alf from Devon. Alf’s sharp one-liners and zany prop-based comedy got a standing ovation from Britain’s Got Talent judges, and was then followed by millions of YouTube hits. In the other corner, there is Richard Lindsay from New Zealand. Richard is the world’s premiere flute comedian, and his joke-writing abilities have been compared to TV’s Milton Jones, but his flute playing has not been compared to James Galway. The joke-writing havoc will be held together by the quick witted and hilarious compere and adjudicator, Richard James.
There’ll be more jokes than anyone could expect of an evening out.

Apologetic Eton and Oxford alumnus Ivo started stand-up in 2009 at the age of 18 and eight months and later became the youngest ever winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny award for new acts at the Edinburgh Fringe. Since graduating three years later he has become a regular fixture in the clubs and theatres of the UK circuit, with a gauche charm and crafty, self-aware wit which has proved a hit with audiences of all ages, and led to appearances on multiple TV and radio shows including Live At The Apollo, Mock The Week, Live From The BBC, Hypothetical, Ultimate Worrier, Stand Up Sketch Show, Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, As Yet Untitled, Live from the BBC, and Fighting Talk. He is a regular writer on Fighting Talk and The Last Leg as well as several others, he is also busy developing his own sitcom. Last year Ivo headed to the Melbourne and Sydney for their comedy festivals he also made his Australian television debut. He returned taking his fifth and most personal show Motion Sickness to the Edinburgh Festival for yet another sell-out run followed by a sell-out run at Soho Theatre. Ivo is currently touring the UK with the show whilst writing a new show to take to the fringe this year.
Jayde Adams joins our stage with her dynamic show summarising her 31 years on this planet. Jayde is unafraid and unabashed in her delivery of musings and musical wonderment, and leaves the audience with their stomach muscles sore, and thoughts provoked. She is also known for her work on Hunka Wunda (2013), Good Omens (2019) and Halloween Comedy Shorts (2016).

Joel burst onto the comedy scene in 2007 and quickly established himself as one of the most energetic and exciting comedians. Mark Dolan has been a broadcaster and comedian for the last 20 years. He has fronted a number of hit shows for Channel 4, including the hidden camera series Richard Taylor Interviews, Balls of Steel and Show Me The Funny. He also made three series of documentaries for Channel 4, entitled The Worlds and Me, in which he met, among others, the world’s cleverest children, the world’s smallest man, the tallest woman, the richest teenagers, the most surgically enhanced person and the fattest pet! A bestselling book followed, The World’s Most Extraordinary People and Me, published by Harper Collins. Alongside his TV broadcasting duties, Mark has consistently toured the UK as a stand-up. His first break came in 2000, as he reached the final of the national stand-up competition “So You Think You’re Funny”. He has scooped a number of awards since, including a gong at this year’s Leicester Comedy Festival for his new show “Asking For A Friend”. Mark will be performing this show throughout 2019.

Morgan Rees is a rising star of the UK circuit. This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. He has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.
Based in Bristol, he gigs all over the UK as both act & compere, and has performed on several mixed bill shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe since 2016.
