ARTIST ENCYCLOPEDIA: treeline
A-Bee blends the old with the new with her extensive range of vinyl from 1995 through to 2018. Focusing on tracks full of swing, pulsing basslines, shuffling hihats and smooth pads. She layers modern heavy House, Techno and Garage over hard, funky and progressive classics from legendary labels such as - Bush, Manifesto, Positiva, Work Records, Nice N Ripe and more. You can expect an exploration of these genres throughout the years in her sets, which gives new rhythm and energy to the older tracks. In April 2018, A-Bee set up her own record label, to bring together all the incredible artists she has met on her musical journey. The label is called Mangoes + Melons and all the artists involved share the same passion and influence of 90s dance music that A-Bee does.
Ariane V has only been in London for two years but has quickly settled in the city’s music scene. She played at some of London's best clubs both as half of duo Moody Food and as herself, and continuously shares her musical taste with others on regular slots on Netil Radio and as a guest on other radio shows. As a member of the Rhythm Sister collective she helps promote women in music by curating their monthly 50/50 mix series, where DJs are asked to ensure that at least half of the tracks are produced by women. Working behind the counter at London's Phonica Records allowed her to sharpen her musical taste and diversify her selection, meaning her sets can span anything from balearic oddities, afro boogie, and disco classics to grooving house, acid, and electro.

Many people know Benji B as a radio host—his BBC Radio 1 slot is firmly established as one of the most important shows in the world right now. But he's also one of the UK's most respected DJs, one whose distinctive tastes have been shaped by one place more than any other: London. Coming of age in a city teeming with record shops, radio stations and clubs, Benji was a regular at just about any seminal party you care to mention. As a DJ, Benji cut his teeth making mixtapes on his mother's HiFi system, using its chunky buttons to mix cassettes, records and the radio. These days, he's recognised for his varied and mature selections. He has a natural ear for rhythm and an innate sense of musicality, playing music with groove, whether it's classic house and techno or the best of the new stuff.
