Accessibility

We are constantly striving to improve our disability access as we believe that everybody should be able to experience the live music they love. While this means we are trying to ensure everywhere is fully accessible, it isn’t perfect just yet. If you want to speak to us further about current accessibility or recommend ways we could improve please do drop us an email at office@thewyldesgroup.com.

To provide more information about your disability ahead of time, and to apply for a space in our accessible areas and viewing platform, please fill out our access form below.

2-FOR-1 TICKET SCHEME

A Personal Assistant wristband is available free of charge if you are a disabled adult (aged 18+) who requires assistance to access the festival. You will need to buy your ticket as normal and email us proof of purchase: for example, a copy of the E-Ticket. You will also need to supply a copy of some form of in-date photo ID and proof of eligibility and the completed access form. The following pieces of evidence are accepted.

Any level of DLA for care and/or mobility

• Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

• Nimbus Access Card - www.accesscard.org.uk

• Armed forces Independent payment

• War Disablement Pension

• D/deaf or blind registration

• Medical professionals’ letter

Please scan or photograph your proof of ticket purchase, proof of eligibility, completed access form and photo ID to add to your application. The name must be the same on all parts of the application. We will review applications without the listed evidence on a case-by-case basis. If you have previously received DLA but have since had a PIP application rejected or not renewed, please contact us as we can accept older evidence on a case-by-case basis. However, please note that temporary injuries, illnesses and pregnancy do not qualify under the PA scheme.

If your application is successful, we will confirm this with you via email. You then bring your ticket, some photo ID and our confirmation email with you to the festival and the appropriate passes or wristbands will be issued. The name of your E-Ticket must match the name on your photo ID.

Children aged 12-17 who are disabled can come free of charge as long as proof of eligibility is submitted and enter with a full paying adult aged 21+. There is no scheme in place for disabled children aged 5 and under as they are already permitted to enter the festival free of charge.

The allocation for Personal Assistance tickets are limited to one per person. PA wristbands will be issued on arrival at the festival.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

There is accessible parking closer to the entrance of the field for blue badge holders. Just ask our friendly stewards when you arrive and they will be able to direct you.

GETTING AROUND SITE

The entire site is on grass fields, depending on weather conditions this can get muddy. There is a hill down from the car parks to the main arena, and the campsites are also situated on this hill, with the campervan and bell tent areas being further away in the next field over from the car park.

Nothing is more than a few minutes away, the site is jam-packed with things to see and do, but it’s not too big.

VIEWING PLATFORM

Our viewing platform has limited space so please apply for a spot by filling out our ACCESS FORM, with proof of ticket purchase and eligibility to reserve your space.

ADDITIONAL FACILITIES

All our events have wheelchair-accessible toilets across the site, both in the main arena and within the camping fields. We also have medication refrigeration available and charging facilities for scooters/wheelchairs. If there is anything specific we can do to make your visit to The Wyldes more comfortable, please just drop us an email and we will do our best to accommodate you.
